Key 4: Hunger

page 75 in the Starting Over Guide

Hunger is about desire. Not just for food, but for something deeper. In recovery, hunger shows up as a longing for meaning, purpose, connection, and change. Key 4 asks: What do you truly want? Not what numbs the pain. Not what gets you through the day. But what you ache for in your spirit. Hunger becomes holy when it’s pointed in the right direction.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”
— Matthew 5:6
